Sour Cream Coffee Cake

preheat oven to 350 grease
and flour 13x9x2 pan
1 cup butter
1 cup sugar
2 cups flour
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
8 oz sour cream
Filling
1/3 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 cup chopped nuts (I prefer pecans or walnuts)
Prepare filling in small bowl and set aside
Cream butter and sugar in large mixing bowl. Add eggs 1 at a time, beating well
after each. Add vanilla. Add dry ingredients, alternating with addition of sour
cream.
Pour half of the batter into the prepared baking pan. Spread half of the filling
over batter, then pour remaining batter on top of filling mixture. Top with
remaining filling mixture.
Bake at 350 degrees for 25-35 mins...
This is a great coffee cake...comes out nice and moist and light....
