Iron Skillet Chocolate Pie

1 cup sugar
2 T. flour
3 T. cocoa
1 T. butter
2 eggs, separated
1 cup milk
Vanilla to taste
Mix sugar, flour, & cocoa in a small mixing bowl. Melt butter in an iron skillet. add sugar mixture. Beat egg yolks, add milk and beat together. Add, a little at a time to mixture in skillet, stirring constantly. Cook slowly until thick. Add vanilla; cool. Pour into an 8 inch baked pie shell. Top with meringue of egg whites,sugar, touch of baking powder. Bake 8 to 10 minutes at 400F.
Yield: 6-8 servings
