Pumpkin Crunch Cake

1 large can pumpkin ( 29 oz)
1 12 oz can evaporated milk
1 cup sugar
3 eggs
1/4 tsp Cinnamon
1 box yellow cake mix
1 cup chopped nuts
2 sticks butter

Frosting:

 1 8 oz package cream cheese
1 cup cool whip
1/2 cup powdered sugar

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Line a 9x13x2 pan with waxed paper... Don't grease it...line it.  Mix pumpkin, evap. milk, sugar, eggs, cinnamon together and pour into pan.  Pour/sprinkle the yellow cake mix DRY over the pumpkin mixture and then sprinkle nuts over top of cake mix.  Spoon melted butter over the nuts evenly.  Bake for 50-60 minutes.  Invert and peel off waxed paper when done.  Cool for 2 hours then make frosting mix and put on top.  Keep refrigerated and its even AWESOME frozen.
