Princess Brownies

2 packages brownie mix

Make one brownie mix according to the directions on the box for chewy brownies (not the cake type).  Spread in a 9 by 13 inch pan that has been sprayed with cooking spray.

Filling:

Mix together

1 eight ounce pkg. cream cheese
1 egg
1/2 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla

Spread on top of the first brownie mix.

 Make the second brownie mix and spread on top of the filling.  Cut through batter with a knife several times. You can sprinkle the top with walnuts or chocolate chips if you like. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 to 45 minutes until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Sprinkle with powdered sugar. Cool and cut into squares.
