Peanut Butter & Jelly Cookies

1/2 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup shortening                       
1/2 cup sugar                            
1/2 cup brown sugar                      
1/2 tsp vanilla
1 egg
1 1/2 cup of flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt

cream shortening and sugars, add egg, vanilla, and peanut butter, blend well, sift flour, baking soda and salt, into mixture, blend well again. Roll into balls, place on cookie sheet, with spoon make indents in cookie dough and add a spoon full of jelly in middle. Bake at 350 for 10 minutes
