Irish Soda Bread

Ingredients:
3 cups of flour
1 egg
½ cup of sugar
1 ½ cups buttermilk
2 teaspoons of baking powder
1 cup of raisins
¼ teaspoon of baking soda
½ stick of butter
Pinch of salt
Cooking Instructions:
Mix the dry ingredients in a bowl. Blend in the butter.
Add raisins. In a measuring cup beat the egg and
buttermilk until creamy. Add the rest of the ingredients to the mixing bowl
slowly until you are able to knead it with your fingers. (Should be a breadlike
dough) Spread the dough in a baking dish with a knife. Slice a cross
on the top.
Heat oven to 350 degrees . Use a 9 inch round pan. Grease
& flour the pan. Bake 50
to 60 mins until lightly brown
