HoHo Cake

chocolate cake mix (with pudding in the mix)
5 Tbl. flour
1-1/2 c. milk
1 c. sugar
2 sticks margarine
1 cup Crisco (do not use “butter
flavored” because it is yellow)
2 tsp. vanilla
1
egg
3 packages unsweetened chocolate (pre-melted only)
1 ¼ cups confectionery sugar

Bake cake as directed in a 9” x 13” pan.
Cool completely.
2. Cook the flour and milk until it thickens. Let cool in frig until room temp or until warm to the touch.

Cream sugar, 1 stick of the margarine (softened), the Crisco and vanilla.
Add the cooked
mixture and beat 10 minutes.
Spread over the cake and refrigerate (to make it stiff and easier
to frost).

For topping, melt the other stick of margarine. Set aside. Mix the egg, 1
tsp
vanilla, and the
chocolate. Then
add the melted margarine and confectionery sugar.
Spread over cake and keep
refrigerated.
