Four Layer Pudding Delight

1 c. flour
1 stick butter, melted
1 c. nuts, chopped *

 Mix together, pat in 9 x 13 baking dish and bake 15 minutes at 350 degrees. Set aside to cool.

 2ND LAYER:

 In bowl mix together: 8 oz. cream cheese, and 1 cup powdered sugar, fold in 1 c. of Cool Whip. Spread over the cooled crust.

 3RD LAYER:

 In bowl beat together: 3 c. milk, 2 small packages of instant pudding **<any flavor>.  Spread over the cream cheese mixture. 

4TH LAYER:

 Spread remainder of 8 oz. Cool Whip over pudding. 

Decorate with chopped nuts, or shaved chocolate, fresh strawberries or mini baking chips if desired.

 Put in refrigerator and chill.  Store leftover in refrigerator.

 

*In the crust I prefer using chopped pecans, but you can use walnuts, or if you are using pistachio pudding you could use chopped pistachios in the crust.

**Chocolate pudding is great, but you can also use butterscotch, or lemon.  I have used vanilla pudding and placed sliced bananas, or sliced fresh strawberries on top of pudding before spreading on Cool Whip.  Pistachio pudding is good with some chopped pistachio nuts on top.  Be creative with whatever flavor of pudding you use.
