Banana Cream Brownies

¾ c. dry roasted peanuts, chopped, divided

1 package (15 oz.) brownie mix (plus the ingredients listed on the package to actually make the brownies)

3 medium bananas, sliced and divided

1-1/4 c. cold milk

1 package (5.1 oz) vanilla instant pudding and pie filling

1 container (8 oz.) frozen whipped topping, thawed and divided

strawberries for garnish, if desired

 

 

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.   Prepare brownie mix according to directions ( adding ½ the peanuts ) and allow to cool.

 

Place half of the bananas ( sliced ) over cooled brownies.

 

Prepare the Instant vanilla pudding as directed and gently fold in the whipped topping.  Spread gently over bananas and refrigerate for 30 minutes.

 

Place remaining bananas on the whipped topping, sprinkle the rest of the peanuts on top and refrigerate again for at least 2 hours. Garnish with strawberry halves if you wish.
