Parmesan Bites

1 (8-oz.) package cream cheese, softened
1-1/4 c. grated parmesan cheese, divided
2 cans refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
1 c. chopped red bell pepper
1/4 c. chopped fresh parley

Mix cream cheese and 1 c. parmesan cheese with electric mixer on medium speed until well blended.  Seperate crescent rolls into 8 rectangles; seal perforations.  Spead 3 Tbsp. cream cheese mixture on each rectangle; top with red pepper and parsley.  Fold long end up over filling to center; fold opposite long side over top of it to enclose remaining filling.  Cut each into equal size squares.  Place, seam side down, on cookie sheet.  Sprinkle with remaining parmesan cheese.  Bake at 350 degrees for 13 to 15 minutes or until golden brown.  Makes 32 bites.
