Turtle Bars

1 package caramels (14 oz.)
2/3 cup of evaporated milk, divided (sm. can)
1 box german chocolate cake mix W. pudding
1 cup pecans, chopped
3/4 melted butter
1 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
1.melt caramels with 1/3 of the milk in double boiler or microwave
2.mix together cake mix, butter and remaining milk
3. pat down 2/3 of the dough into a greased 9x13 pan (fingers works the best)
4. bake in 350* oven for 6 mins remove, sprinkle chips over the top then drizzle melted caramels over the chips and sprinkle the pecans, drop remaining dough by the spoonful over the top, continue baking for 20 more mins. cool.. EAT
